LeaseWeb Parent Listed on Deloitte Fast50

AMSTERDAM — The OCOM Group, parent company of dedicated hosting provider LeaseWeb, is among the 50 companies nominated for the Deloitte Technology Fast50, the list of fastest growing technology companies in the Benelux region.

The OCOM Group also owns CO2-neutral data center EvoSwitch and network service provider FiberRing.

The Deloitte Technology Fast50 is one of the U.K.'s foremost technology award programs. It is a ranking of the country's 50 fastest-growing technology companies based on percentage growth over five years. The award honors business growth, technological innovation and U.K. entrepreneurial spirit. The winners will be announced Oct. 22.

In its first inclusion on the Fast50, OCOM was No. 18 on the list with a growth percentage of 1087 percent within five years.

“Since its last nomination, OCOM’s growth has continued unabated by attracting new clients such as Wikipedia, Heineken and the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam,” said Con Zwinkels, managing director and co-founder of OCOM. “Our international outlets in particular have expanded, with new clients coming in from regions like Eastern Europe, Russia, Southern Europe and the U.S.

“We’ve also strengthened our proposition and expanded our line of hosting products by such means as a platform for virtual servers based on VMware and a virtual storage platform.”
